TOO much power?

I was thinkin of buying two Rockford 15"s (RFD2215). These subs are rated at 156-600 watts RMS. I was wanting to power them with one BX1500D amp(Hifonics Brutus). This amp is rated at 500 watts in a 4 ohm load, 1000 watts in a 2 ohm load, and 1500 watts in a 1 ohm load. My question is, could I efficiently power these subs with this amp or would it be too much power? Thanks in advance for the help. Also, would I need a huge box for these subs? I'm wantin to put them in the backseat of my car since my trunk is small. THX.

Yeah you could use the 1500@1 ohm just keep your gains low and you should be ok. Warning you turn it up....you'll fry it. Make sure you get the right voice coil so you can wire them for your amp.

As far as the box size you will just have to find the recommended specs for the subs and see what you can do with that.
