my gf got a Aveo.. she wanted somethin that gets better than the 11mpg her ***** Am got, so we picked up a used Aveo wit 38,xxxmiles for under 7thousand bucks.. and she wanted me 2 tint the tails.. so here's my handywork

work looks good but I would have just tinted them solid or not bothered at all. What did you use anyway?

I like the 2tone look, the reverse lights and blinkers are hella bright...

I just got some plastic spray paint.. duplicolor.. and taped em off, no scuffing or anything, just sprayed a few light coats til i liked the darkness, let em dry and put em in.. same stuff and method i used on my car.. and paint has held up outstandingly for nearly 6months

i like the clear untinted... im getting her windows tinted tomorrow.. needs tint bad!!

When tinting, go with nightshade....it will hold up the best and its easier to determine how dark you make em. After just wet sand, and buff it out....

yeah, its an aveo.. but t aint gotta be hideous.. tint is the least we can do if she's gonna drive it for 5 or so years.. its her car, might as well make it look decent

I used the spray on my lights. I had altezzas. but i ended up not liking how where all blacked out. taped off the reverse and brake lights spots so they would remain clear. Took a old english D like for the detroit Tigers, and put that over my turn signal .. it was a sticker... i sprayed em. down and alls i get is complements on how cool it looks. plus I nightshaded 3rd brake light =). my front end has angel eyes with backgrounds that are black. I ended up spray paintin the grill black. I wanna get a RBP grill but they are $700. but are the best grill on the market i think.

thanks guys, i like the clear/blk look too.. thats wut she wanted so thats wut i didt.. i think i did a kickass job wit the tape lines.. i tore the tape into TINY pieces to get the round corners.. then took a hard plastic gift card and straightened the lines out as best i could..

oh and too the guy with his charming addition to his truck wit the angel eyes and tinted tails... hows about a few pics (in ur own thread) jk man post em in here.. i wanna see
