How loud is thunder in dB's??? Lately we have been having some crazy crazy crazy storms here in upstate NY and was just cerious... Really nice light show going on right now, lightning is keeping the sky light up for several seconds at a time there are so many hits...

YEah storms here in NE ohio have been very good as well, bad for business...but anyways.

I was thinking the exact same thing this last week, I am sure if it was miked right at the source it'd be pretty amazing

come down here to florida, every afternoon from june to like september it lightnings, and i mean it gets pretty bad here....

If you want to hear some good thunder I suggest Garth Brooks - Thunder Rolls. At first I thought the SQ on that CD was bad listening to at home, but once I heard it in my car with a sub I was very impressed. The CD is recorded pretty quietly and you might have to turn up the bass higher than usual, but its there, trust me. The thunder at the end of the song will shake the car if you got a sub. It's a good song anyways if you like country with some rock mixed in too. If you can find a good quality version online its worth the download.
