I have a Scenario and wanted some additional input.

I have an fsd2600 on two xfl 10’s in my Landcruiser and an fsd1600 I purchased for my Acura TL for an xr12. Both vehicles have big three, agm batteries (suv has an additional agm in the rear) and 250 amp alternator for each.

Wanted to maximize Output in both vehicles. Thinking two scenarios

original plan: 2600 stays In suv and 1600 in car
New idea: sell 1600, move 2600 to car and put a md5000 in my suv.

feedback appreciated

So, MD5000 on two XFL 10's? Seems a bit strong, but should be fine. Just set the gain right.

Yeah I’m thinking there would be a positive difference in going to an md3000.1 factoring the amperage pull required to get Anywhere near 3k out of the md vs the amperage required to get 2.6k out of the fsd (korean) but the principle of buying a new 3k and not getting a 5k has me conflicted

works fine. my buddy did a 155 with a taramps md 10k with his 4 xfl 15s. its perfect power for them. He came from an FSD as well on a single woofer which did good as well.

Xfls were ice cold all the times never got even close to warm. His single xfl 15 did heat up really bad with the fsd. Less loud and less clean power from what i see.

Don't do it, you're only looking for issues. You only want subs that are the same. Subs with different specs will cause sound quality issues

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...

You don't need two amps. The speakers come with crossovers to help protect the tweeters.
