Three 12"Kicker L-5's Sealed?

I kinda want to try a sealed box inside of my 93"Probe.Would 3 of these get pretty loud? And how much power would I need for 3 12"L-5's?Or is there any other sub's that I can use in a sealed enclosure? That'll still hit hard, get low,and loud?I'am seeking 12's;not 15's.Thank's,Clint
Go over to Ovation by River Falls Mall. They have the solobarics in their sound room. Although they probably won't sound the same in your car, you can still get an idea.

I personally don't like the sound quality of the solobarics, sealed or ported. But lots of peoples' opinions on "sound quality" are different.

If your looking for just all-out bass, they should be very good at that.

Holla...

3 L5's in a sealed box will be hella loud. They will hit very hard, get low, and they will be extremely loud. That setup right their is worthy off settin car alarms off right their.

have you thought about just getting two and porting them? I don't know if you have the room or not, but two ported should be louder for all out spl than 3 sealed

How much room do you have? How much power do you plan on all?
Polecat,Oh I've got plenty of room.I've got enough for uo to about a 4.5-5cu.ft. enclosure.At least 4.5cubes!The subwoofer amplifiers that I like and I'am considering using for apair of 12"L5's or maybe even L7's.Amp's:1.)Lanzar Opti-2000D or 2.)JBL(BP-1200.1)with a audio-control subsonic filter or 3.)Hifonics Brutus(BX-1500D) or 4.)Lanzar Heritage(HTG-2600D) or 5.)Audiobahn(A12001DT) or 6.)Ultimate(DD1-1300S) They're going into a 93"Ford Probe SST. Thanks in advance,Clint(Indianabassfreak) :thumbsup

Get 2 Dual 4-ohm 12L7's in a ported 5 cu ft box tuned to around 35Hz with a 1000+ watt amp @ 1-ohm or 2 Dual 2-ohm 12L7's in the same size box with a 1000+ watt amp @ 2-ohm! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

DO NOT GET THE Ultimate DD1-1300S!!!

Those things ****. They're very powerful, but they must have an extremely low damping factor or something, bcuz the lows with those amps are very faint.

If I could do a blindfold test between my Hifonics amp and the Ultimate amp, IN MY CAR, I'd definately take Richard Clark's challenge. I'd play Hailmary by Tupac, and Richard Clark would be out $10,000.

Anyway...

Stay away from them, they **** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Of those, the JBL does fine as well as the Brutus...either way, with those kinds of power, i would nw step into L7's...and the power you want, and room you have, you will be easily obtainable. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Rf amps always hit the lows.
