This weekend will be busy for me

i sent in 3 of my amps to avionixx to be repaired on january 30th.

they recieved them and called me with the price on feb 6th

i sent out the m.o. the same day and the amps just showed up at my doorstep today.

2 week turn around and most of that time was spent in shipping.

the best part is it was only $140 to repair all 3 including return shipping.

so i have all 5 of my amps in good working condition and ready to be installed.

my h701 will be here thursday.

the c701 is already installed and waiting.

the peerless mids are here and are waiting to be installed.

the coustic 5.25" mids are in but i need to redo the kicks for those.

my ensolite will hopefully be here by thursday or friday.

i have my 1/0 ready to be installed.

and now i just need to get another battery from my parents shop.

hopefully it isnt too **** cold. but if it is i can just go do it at my dad's shop and use the big heater.

i am just very happy that it is all falling together at once.

Me as well. I got all my equipment here and its a 3day weekend. There is a big issue I have to solve before this weekend. Right behind where my mid should mount is the fcking track for the window. Which really sucks.

well one option that i have found to work in my car is to put washers between where the track bolts to the door.

to space the track out a bit and get the extra clearance.

but you cant do it much or your window wont go up and down anymore.

will you not have enough room by making a mdf ring?

Sorry to jack your thread. I ought to slap the GM engineer who came up with the bullshit.

The washer idea will help. I am afraid of the mid's excursion into the factory grill. It's going to be very very close.

well i just checked the sub and it seems to be fawked up.

which blows because i really wanted to put it in this weekend.

i guess i will just rock the idq 12 for a while longer.

and hopefully i can get it fixed somehow.

those are: an AXT 800.4, an AXT 800.2, and an AXA 440.4

bringing my total up to 5 working amps.

but i am only going to use 4 of them i think.

it depends on what happens with the sub.

i may end up using the pair of 800.2's on a sub/subs and bridge the 800.4 to give the peerless's 200w each at 8 ohms:up2somet:

and then there is the ed 18" sub that i have.
