Thinking of this pontoon as well

if you want one that hauls asss get a playcraft I was checking those out untill i priced out what rebuilding a standard pontoon with all new parts was. It is way cheaper for me to deck out the one i bought for a dollar with new everything than any other way. Plus i get to deck it out like a pirate ship instead. I want wood planking but teak will probably get expensive

such a waste of money in my eyes. I was raised on the water and i would always see those boats just sitting doing nothing. I love fishing boats that are meant for fishing so im pretty swayed on stuff like this. But that should be fun sitting around on a boat.

I would go with the one with 90 HP. 90 HP is about the minimum you need for a pontoon.
absolutely not true. the boat i rented had a 50hp motor and it ran fast enough to tube behind. yes a 90hp would be better of course but for the price im very happy with a flawless condition pontoon. no wear and tear on the seats or carpet.

and it comes with the trailer. all i want the pontoon for is to sit and hang out on the water and tube if i wanted. im not a speed freak so im sure id be happy.

don't be sooo cheap.
i got mine for 12k last spring.

cmon at least get one with enough floor space for a full size beer pong table

too bad you only got a lake for it

The cool thing about pontoons is its all build on a flat peice of plywood (usually). so its super simple to customize it and have it looking new again if you got the funds or DIY knowledge. we have an older one i plan on remodeling this winter.

just an fyi, the people who live across from our lake house have a pontoon with a 200+ hp engine. B**** hits around 60 id imagine
