ok i found this one on craigslist and i contacted them and they said they would take 3500 for the pontoon and trailer. it has a 50hp motor on it. i kinda like the layout on the deck though.

That's pretty schnazy...id go for it, nice boat.

pontoon boats are pimp. Ive rode on a 90 hp one, and that thing hauled *** (of course, it took a bit to get up to speed). Definately the way to pimp boat for cheap. The more expensive one seems to have a better layout although there would be little reason for such a big motor.

the first one you were looking at is in far better shape from the looks of the pics

go with the one that costs slightly more and you will have a much better investment

its not that im being cheap. its just i have an escalade payment/house payment/ wedding to be paid for/ huge astro project coming up. lots of shit on my plate. if i could find a cheap 24' trailer for that pontoon for 4500 id buy it cuz it looks alot better than the other one but the other one is 3500 with trailer and it looks flawless. its a toss up.

yeah my buddy's 90 hp one had no real reason to have that big of an engine. He did it for the hell of it.

check the floors for soft spots on each of them

ask what years the motors are, etc....

ok so my wife and i decided to go ahead and buy the $3500 with cash instaed of taking out a loan for the other and trying to find a trailer for it. im sure ill be happier either way and it will be paid for.
