Counting the one installed in my car I currently own 4 HUs.

The one that isn't Kenwood is an Alpine that I picked up at a garage sale for $20 (it's all beat to crap but it works and none of the LEDs in the display are burnt out so I reckon it was worth $20)

My very first aftermarket HU was a Coustic. Blah.After that burnt up (my fault) it was followed by a Blaupunkt.

Three of those in a row burnt up (Blau's fault ~ design flaw)

After that I bought the 1st Kenwood I ever owned (dual-shaft cassette deck) and outside of the aforementioned garage sale Alpine I haven't ever bought another kind.

I never liked kenwood's appearance on anything they have made

Mainly why i ive never bought anything from them

Except some 5 1/4" speakers with a blue cone and inverted surround

I got a DEI tech guy to send me a manual but all it gives me is the 4 Ohm stereo output ratings that I already knew (but I have a copy of the original manual now at the very least).

There is one and only one online manual about my Autotek 5600X.

And its really crappy, only gives the 4ohm ratings

I cant just call hifonics and expect an answer....

It happens. I need to get this old 222 SX hooked up to see does it work so I can leave the guy I bought it from feedback. He left me feed like the day after he got paid even before he shipped it.

I will assume that it is as-listed as eBay sellers that leave feedback first before it is left for them have a tendency to be the more honest ones //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif. No way to leave retaliatory negatives if you get dinged with one yourself...
