Anyone have any experience with isobaric loading?

I really just need to **** it up and read about it...

Its not worth it if you have the space.I havent tried it because im to lazy to make a baffle so the sub surrounds dont touch

I don't have room for a proper ported box for 2 18s

Id figure Isobaric as more of a lower power setup thing.Not 2 big ole 18's

Best Applications Where size is a big issue. When you want the box to be very small. Where more accurate bass is more important than lots of bass. If you have a hefty amplifier with plenty of juice to spare and a driver that can handle a good amount of power. Suited for music, home theater and car.

And you only need 1/2 the enclosure volume, which is nice

~2650 @ 2 ohms... I'm gonna map some out in BBP.... see what I can do....

Its definetly not your average setup.isobaric is really rare, id say so more than TL or folded horn

Which sucks cause it's hard to find any REAL info about...

The best you can do is google.I would do inverted rather than building an enclosure inside an enclosure.

That's the plan...

When it says that you need 1/2 the enclosure... does that mean 1/2 the enclosure for one, or 1/2 for the pair... in your opinion.... that's what's got me hung up...

anyone know what to use for rounding enclosure walls ?construction like paper comes to mind but it doesnt seem like it would take resin well

1/4s of pvc pipe... non corregated cardboard... I don't see why CP wouldn't work...
