I've told this story more than a few times at this point but here goes again:

Reader's Digest version:

She and I met over 6 years ago now in a Yahoo! chat room (specifically the group of channels called 'The Hot Tub' if you must know) when she asked me how to set filters so she didn't have to see the spamming ads for various **** sites in the chat channels anymore. We hit it off almost immediately and 13 months later I was in Australia for the 1st time. When I came back stateside that first time I was engaged. I went back a second time to finalize wedding details that required my presence. I went back a third time at the end of '05 and got married in October last year.

She and I are now awaiting my application for a spousal visa so that I might have permanent residency and the ability to legally work to be approved by Australia's Dept Of Immigration. It's a logistics nightmare and causes me to have no fvcking sympathy whatsoever for these illegal immigrants while I am trying to immigrate the RIGHT way somewhere myself. No one's giving me a freaking free ride so why should they expect one?!?
