That was peak speeds under optimum conditions. Usually it was around 280kbs. That was when it was still a fairly new thing and the whole block wasn't burning up the bandwidth.

Now I'm out in the country no where near my local switch station and I'm doing good to connect @ 24k. My d/l's are 2.6kbs on good days.

I'm depressing myself just talking about it. I need some ice cream. *sniffle sniffle*
