I dont know I just said that, only because I have owned alpine Decks since I was 15. Ive had a CDM 7874, CDA9815, CDA 9853, CDA 9855 (current), im just a die hard alpine fan I guess. only pioneer deck I have messed with was a premier 630 (2001 model) Nice deck, just like my alpines features better.

i've had alpine, pioneer, eclipse, clarion, kenwood, and panasonic decks, and so far this 9835 is the best one i've owned.
