Now that the box is closer to the tailgate I wanted to slide the backseat forward a bit to see if I have room for my rack boards. I DO!!!

I think I will move the JP-630 to the edge of the right side of the board so I have more room for the 1/0 cables. Just below in the bottom right of each pic is a seat bracket bolt that apparently bolts directly to the thickest part of the sub -frame. Guess where my ground is going. Nice short run. I am brain storming how to mount the other board with the JP77 on it. It will live in this space too.

No friggin clue what happened to my hardware for my JP-630 cap bank so I ordered an entire M6 kit with washers. Dig this, it comes with Allen's key so I don't have to find one lol.

Got the brackets and hardware today. Saturday I grab my speaker wires out of the storage unit. I will be running all the front wires from the front to the back. There they will await the amplifier being mounted. Then I can trim and secure the speaker wires. After that it is the power and ground cables.

Ok, I grabbed the cables and wires. There is about 250ft of speaker wires from 14awg to 18awg. Only the blue and black wires are CCA. Those are for my tweeters. Low power kind of situation so I went cheaper on the wires. I will have to use some runs of RED power cable for now... I will switch to orange down the road. Orange because Electric cars use them for high power cables. I like it. I will switch the front Circuit Breaker for an ANL fuse and holder (350a). I stopped for today because of the heat advisory. It is a feels like 107° out there right now.

I can't find my color coded speaker wire ferrules so I ordered 400 (200/200) red and black 16awg ferrules. I found my ferrule crimper so I am good on that end.

I made some progress then the heat kicked in so I stopped. Main ground wired is bolted to a very large rear seat bracket bolt to the sub-frame. Broke out my hydraulic crimper and cut some cables to length to make these connections. I also used heat shrink. I also moved the JP-630 out to the edge of the board to make room. There are no connection on the other side. I may move the DSP to the top rack next to the amp when I install it. It's progress. Outside feels like temp is 104°f.

Man, I ordered the 16awg black and red ferrules and to look at them... yeah, they are too damn small. Tomorrow night I will order another 400 in 14awg. I can still use the 16awg on the connections to the DSP. They are pretty small. I am for sure going to move the DSP up top and slide the SMD fuse block over near where the DSP is now. Definitely going to order some more GP orange 1/0 cable. Come on Late Sept. and October. I haven't heard bass in so long it is making me nuts. I don't know what song I want to play first after the tune. Maybe 69 Boyz "Loose Booty"... I know that hits hard!!! Probably play Slayer first... "Spill The Blood"!!! Maybe "Carr Jam" from the 1981 KISS album Revenge. Ahhhh "Moving in Stereo" by The Cars.

Got the 14awg ferrules today. Much better.
