PNY uses cheap components on most of their cards I've used (haven't used their 6800) ...

I'm not a fan of BFG, either ... Not that they make bad cards, they just lack overclocking potential, in my experience ...

I have had great experience overclocking the 6800OC, i even unlocked the extra pipelines, then over clock some.

the OCZ power supply is a GREAT choice, but for that rig id go with the 520w model.

stick with the 200 gig HDD, and also stick with a higher end video card.

btw, do you plan on overclocking it? if you get some

As much as you dont want a nVidia card, you should get a nVidia 6600GT. Its a great inexpensive PCI-E card. And then later on you could get another and use them together (SLI) if you ever wanted to upgrade.

I don't ever plan on going to SLI, as my mobo don't support SLI. And for a 6600GT thats almost $300 CDN. And I already ordered my Sapphire Radeon X700 Pro.

Get as much space as you can afford ... and don't buy a Maxtor HDD ...
120 GB runs out really quickly ... I'm constantly having to transfer **** to DVD/VCD because I keep running out of space ...

I have the Maxtor 120Gig and i only have used ~80-90gigs and i have 3 games installed, about 1k songs and a bunch of programs and about 100 **** videos, about 45 mins each. 120 Gigs is plenty for me.

I've mixed plenty of ATI card's with a nForce chipset and they all worked fine for me tho.

i highly doubt the **** vids are of dvd quality which greatly decreases

This is becoming a 6600GT vs X700 Pro lol. I hope this will clear up somethings. I play DirectX games more then OpenGL games. DirectX=ATI, OpenGL=nVidia.

Wouldn't the shipping cost a fortune lol? Cause it says your from Florida, and i'm from Manitoba, Canada. I think that the shipping will be a lot and to get it over the border too. And also, since it's, i'm assumsing you have a Socket 754, with a AGP video card, thats not something that I really want. It's a nice computer and that but i'm WAY too picky for what I want in a computer. I'm WAY too picky.
