You should go to a local shop (if you can) and listen to different 6x9s with the same cd and cd player. I would reccomend some MB Quarts or Bostons. Buy what ever sounds best to you because everyone has their opinion on what is the best.

i myself find the type r's to produce some very clean bass and are very clean with the mids, but yea you should go to a local shop and try some out

I like the Eclipse Point Sources, they aren't very loud just make a nice accent, along with the Diamond M3's if you're looking for them to get loud.

You will probobly want to go with an amp for any of the above mentioned 6x9s.
