What i got is a 15' sub that is sounding like **** compared to the other one. So the local shop said fry the voice coil somehow and they will send it in under warranty. So i was wondering what would be the most dramatic way to do this WITHOUT making visual damage such as lighting it on fire. i am just doing this for giggles. So what would be the best wall socket, distort it to hell, or what?

I did that with one of my type r's. Pluged it into the wall. It was awesome while it lasted. really really loud and then nothing. only takes a couple seconds.

get a powerful amp. turn the Xover all the way up. turn bass boost all the way up. put some bass song like bass mekanik in. and crank up the volume and wait for it to start smoking.
