My electricity bill for the last 2 months was almost $200 for a 2 bedroom apartment.

I told management the heater had an issue so they send out the repair guy.

He tells me everything is working correctly:mad:

I told him to **** off, and did some testing of my own....turns out even when the thermostat was "off", the heat strips stayed on 24/7:verymad:

I pulled one wire from the thermostat, and now they come on only when I set it to emergency heat:D

FOCK YOU MAINTENANCE

Sincerely,

Darren

edit: my most recent bill was only $71.85:)

i do HVAC for a living .....sounds like you need a new thermostat ...just make sure the wire you are taking off is not line voltage (120v) some electric heat base boards used line voltage to t-stat and some used low voltage 24v

I'm about to move into an apartment that charges electricity as the only utility. All others are covered.... It will be split between 4 people... so hopefully it wont be too bad
Thats a big apartment? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
