Well, some **** happened and i need cash. I've got a pair of 4" coil beehive motors that I was planning on building, but since I've got a pair of Pro 5100's with the 4" coil aura motor I don't need these.

These are the specs on the motors:

Coil/gap specs
Top plate - 0.505
Pole diameter - 3.822
Inside of magnets - 4.1325
Gap width - 0.1550
back plate is 3.3180 from the top of the top plate.

Measurements were taken with metal calipers, so some variation is expected.

Here are the coil dimensions for the top assembly I have that fits these motors. It's an underhung OEM TC top assembly, most likely the Pro 5100 /aura 1808 or very similar.

Coil ID - 3.8905
Coil OD - 4.035
Winding height - 1.59

There are some small flakes missing on the neo coating, but nothing that would impact performance.

I will get more pictures tonight with the usual name and date.

I'm asking 800 for the pair of these. I was quoted 600 to build 2 - 18 or 21" top assemblies by robot underground.

Surprising he can find a coil to fit, but not bad, GLWS. Hopefully someone can get those things finally up and running.

A couple people I've talked too have coils that will fit. They might not be exactly the same, but they still work. Tighter gap clearence, different wind width, etc. I beleive RU said he had a few OEM coils somewhere for the LMS 18's and these motors share a coil.

Either way, it's sad to see them go. I had some plans, but gotta keep a roof over my family's head first and foremost.

Must have been the 3" version that had the unobtainium coils that I'm thinking of. As you say 4HP coils should be easy to find and I think Patrick sometimes just strips a layer off a coil if the ID fits which should get the job done.

I was able to log in fine, using Chrome if that helps. I don't know anything about the product at all, just found the info and shared the love. :)

Brother in law has some of their 8’s and they are little beasts. Typical cookie cutter product that performs as it should.

The formula is Square Root of your target Wattage Multiplied by Ohms. 50Wx4Ohms=200. Square root of 200 is 14.14. So 15v AC is your target.
