Sundown x12s not hitting high notes

"high notes" means what exactly? x series is designed for lows. could be the amp, could be the box, could be your vehicle, could be your subs.

Turning your subsonic filter up doesn't make it play higher.

Is this about distortion or your subwoofers not playing "high notes"?
No my bad I meant my low pass filter. It’s all the way down at 35hz. And as as soon as I turn it up pass that they start distorting

higher notes like 40-50hz
 
Those X series subs are for lowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww notes anyhow. you want something that plays that high, get other brand and tune to 35Hz.
