suggest a new setup. 2-10's aint cutting it

alright boys and girls. I was running 2 re sx10's ported 2.912 @ 30 with 1800rms for the longest time which sounded fine in a hatch well I through everything in my truck and it sounds like shit plus I have more room to work with now so givin I have 900x2 rms @ 2 ohms should I keep the sx10's and TL them, or go with 2 800-1000rms 15's ported or 4 450-500 rms 15's ported I'm open for suggestions. its just than now I have room to play with and I dunno what to do. but somethings gotta give cause the SX10's sound kinda sloppy in the truck

I knew that was coming..... I'm looking for a solid daily driver setup. tuned low. I'll probably only run it on the mic once. so I'm not competing with it. its gotta sound good but get stupid loud if need be.

thats what i'm thinking. the 2 10's are loud (low 140's) but for as much power as I'm using I should be using more cone area

no the only thing I heard was his gf's LI, and looking at the BB6P the 18 will be plenty loud

i think maybe you have started your journey into .....s.q.? many people wouldnt care if a sub sounded sloppy as long as it was loud...you do. if you put 1 or 2000 wrms on a good 15 or 2 maybe an 18 in a ......big sealed box., it would be loud and accurate, and you wouldnt listen to it thinking it sounds sloppy.i would rather listen to a loud accurate sub over a stupid loud inaccurate sub always.go to a car audio store (call tham first and ask if thay have one)or a friends house and try a 15 or an 18 in a good sealed box.my money sais you never use a ported box again.
