So, I have a 2009 Acura TL technology package and decided to put in an aftermarket 12" subwoofer but since I'm keeping the factory head unit, I bought a loc and wired it to my rear deck speakers L and R but when I play music the subwoofer doesn't have any sound, but it has power and has a good ground (area is sanded down and held with washer and bolt. Every wire is connected such as RCA to Line Output Converter RCA, left speaker wire with left speaker, right speaker wiring with right speaker, LOC positive 12+V is connected together with Battery on Amp, LOC ground with ground, speaker wire is connected from amp to subwoofer, and the LOC remote is connected to the amp's Rem. I don't know if maybe I have to tap into my fuse to for the remote, but can i get any help? The speaker is a 12" kit from SKAR SDR, amp is RP-800.1D

It sounds like a setting on the headunit. Turn the subwoofer level up to max on the HU. That might solve your issue. Do you have a subwoofer option on/off on your HU? That little selection is often the problem.

I don't think I do it's a skar 12" subwoofer, but it only has the obvious speaker wires and that's all. After work I'll go and check to make sure though. Thank you!

The subwoofer setting would be in the menu on your radio not the sub itself

Turn the leveling knobs on your loc all the way up and then all the way down to the minimum setting. That type of loc is super sensitive. I went with a kicker brand after using that exact 1 on my Tahoe and the kicker 1 is way better and has very little to no distortion at all.

Check your remote line or RCA, some decks have written remote 2 times different wires one solid blue one blue and white, some do the misstake using the wrong one
