I wanted to go with the jl audio stealthbox in the console of my yukon. It holds one downfiring 10w3 I believe, but definately a 10". Someone told me that the sub being up front would take away from the midbass in my front speakers. I don't need a sick booming system (obviously with just one 10") I just want WAY loud and really clear to hear all the sounds in the recordings. So what do you guys think? I figured that everyone in the vehicle being equidistant from the speaker would make it easier to deal with volume, but I don't know alot about this. Any opinion is appreciated, thanks.
