Which way should I face me subs to reduce rattling and increase SQ? Also, are 12w3v2 good subs? Are they better than Type R's?

there alot better than Type Rs ive heard both hooked up to a Jl audio 1000/1. Ive heardem in alpine type Rs in 10"s 12"s and 15"s and none of them sound as good as the JL. But Jl is JL.
