Can anyone tell me if one will be obviously better and louder, from what i learned sub B will be a quieter subA?? But it is supposed to be far superior to SubA, and i don't know if im getting Bs'ed into a sale. These are clarions by the way, if anyone knows of subs that even far better then this please let me know. Thank You Sorry for this post being a mess.

Well sub A is a little higher in the Sensitivity department, but sub B takes a little more power and has a more linear BL.

I would initally say that sub B would be a bit louder, but it all depends on the install, especially since sub A has a much higher Fs. It would be helpful to know what the subs were.

The Qts and Fs on sub A are both way too high. The chances of getting low frequency extension and a smooth response from it are slim.

If you are trying to get loud, I wouldn't be looking at either one of those subs. Just about any other major brand would likely be better. For SQ I would probably be looking elsewhere as well.

can you reccomend another brand?? im not familiar with many others, also i would like to keep the sub box volume sealed at around 1cu.foot max thanks for any suggestions

i am looking for a balance between the 2, i am willing to spend say 500 or a little more but im also worried that i am placing the box in the back of an ext. cab truck so i am limited to 1cube each sealed(2 subs), my amp just came in today it is a clarion dpx1001.2 its a digital i think 300w rms x 2 @2 ohm it also can be bridged to 1 ohm. i would like killer base, but i don't want bad sound either. The nice thing is the truck is carpeted also fabric doors, and the subs are inside so no rattling trunks or tinny sound like lots in town., if you know what im trying to say

thanks

Carpet won't stop the rattles.

You have an extended cab, why is space so limited?

Is that $500CDN? I'm not to familiar with the prices north of the border, and I don't know what is readily available to you, so recommending brands in your price range would be a bit difficult. Alpine subs aren't bad and are usually pretty much available everywhere...
