Stupid Idea??

Is it a really dumb Idea to have two 4" speakers in my car with an Amp and Two 10 " subs?? Because I really don't want to build anything in my car so I can have bigger speakers ( because I only have to 4" speakers on the two front doors). I just want a good clean sound with kick. Any other suggestions??

I wouldn't call it a really dumb idea. if it suits your ears alright then go for it. With 4 inch speakers you won't get much mid-bass sound. Your higher frquency sounds should be alright, so it's up to you. Do you mind having strong low end bass and decent highs without much mid-bass? If you do choose to do this, I'd get a pair of in-line bass blockers to wire into the 4 inch speaker to block out distortion from bass frequencies.
