Strapped BMF1000d?

Does anyone run their BMF's strapped? I used to run one IDMAX d2 to each bmf, but I was thinking about changing it up to run the crossfires strapped and wire up two d2's to the stapped amps.

What do you guys think about that? It would be easier to set the gain IMO.
