I hooked up an amp in my friends 99 cavalier utilizing the high inputs on the amp (stock deck). I used the wires from the rear speakers and I am unsure which is negative and which is positive. On the harness they are labelled A and B. Which is which? I can offer a guess, but I want to make sure. Help...

In a GM vehicle, the darker wire at each rear speaker is the positive lead. On the front speakers, the lighter wire is positive.

you can pop the speakers if your unsure. get a 9v battery and hook up to short lead. then put on wire to one side and the other side to the other. check witch side the positive side of the bat. is and if the speaker pops out, pos. on the bat= pos. on the speaker. if not, pos. is the other side.
