Stay with me here for a minute. I hate when others ask these questions, but I have to. I am in a tough position and need subs badly. I want to run either 2 12s or 2 10s. The 12 will likely be sealed due to the box size and the 10s will probably be ported. I am leaning towards the infinity because I have always been a fan of them. Price is not an issue as my friends has some really good connections and they are both rediculously cheap. And no, they are not stolen.

I think the Pioneers will be a little louder, but the infinity will sound much cleaner. I have heard the pioneers in a setup in a truck and it was pretty good for the price. I have not heard the infinitys in a real setup.

I had the pioneers(2). And I was very pleased with them. I went from a rockford 15 and there wasnt even a contest the 12's blew it away. I was only pushin 350rms and my car felt like it was gonna fall apart. with those suckers in my box it must weigh a good 60lbs They are fairly beefy. Only reason i got rid of them is that I got used to the them, And wanted something more! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I had the pro series model pioneer which is the old model with those specs...I ran two 12's and loved it. I was pushing just over 300 watts rms to each, and even sealed they pounded. Not the best thing out there, but for the money they give everything else a good run IMHO.

look at the infinty 1232w They are 2ohm dvc's. I own them, and have heard them in their ideal setup. Each sub had about 400 watts from a sony mono amp. Kappas are geared towards sq, ask around. I have not heard the pioneers, but i know that the infinitys will pound in a small sealed box.

i had the 1230ws and they are very very loud for the price IMO, i had pioneers b4 and i toasted them fast with the rated power going to them, id say go with infinity... peace

If price is not an issue.....than go with Infinity Perfects instead. I've heard that those 1230 ones easily blow. I'm not sure but Crutchfiled was selling 2 12 in ch Perfects for $300, and thas dirt cheap.

I said many times before and I'll say it again, a bud of mine has got 2 12 in ch perfects in a sealed truck box and is able to set off car alarms with easy. So you can't say they hit hard because they do. And i love their SQ. If I would have done it over again I would have got 2 of them instead of my Kickers.
