We are providing test results performed by us of the VE Audio VD-600.1 2ohm model.

We are using our professional Next-USB System with Level 3 AC/DC 1200A TH HE Sensor for power output measuring and our Level 2 AC/DC 400A Sensor for power input measuring.

We are using our own contracted import company - JFA Eletronicos for regulated 115/220v AC to DC Power Supply adjustable from 12.8-14.4vDC.

We are using Centech Infrared Temperature gun for monitoring ambient and Amplifier temperature.

We are using 8 1,000w Resistive banks mounted to Steel bars for output load and heat dissipation.

We are using SPL-Lab Software v2.6.10 in both Power and RTA mode.

Amplifier rated output-

300wx1 4ohm

600wx1 2ohm

All at 14.4v

Our Test Results-

(Because we provide more test data than anyone else, it will be impossible to accurately compare our data with another tester without knowing all of their values as well.)

QoSFRRTAT- ("cause-for-tat")

Quality of Signal Frequency Response Real Time Analyzing Test

This tests the FR amplitude curve by measuring the signal amplitude WITH a fixed load on it that is allowed to receive variables during test such as increase in temperature, etc that would likely happen in real world.

Results-

This amplifier is a subwoofer/midbass amplifier.

Producing output up to 1KHz and down (before rolloff) to 22Hz.

This amplifier has EXTREME and quick low impedance protection which is good!

We tested amplifier at 1ohm and 1.5ohm resistive and as soo as we sent input signal, it went into protect and right back out in 3 seconds (input load was stopped).

Measuring data shows NO measurable data which means protection kicks in before the signal reaches the output stage! Very Fast!

One key thing to note about this amplifier-

Some will see it's efficiency results are very low for a Class D amplifier and this is true, however, we did notice one interesting thing about this amplifier.

It was VERY HARD to get it to drive in AND stay in distortion.

We would intentionally max out all settings and the majority of the test results refused to go over 2%THD. Backing down the output more and more allowed a quick instance of 3-5% THD and one lucky 7% THD test but this took many tries to get it to get dirty like that.

The amplifier insists on trying to keep the output stage clean.

VE Audio is our Sound Quality line of amplifiers which as we can see does quite well.

We have other test data provided from buildhouse which insists the protection circuit also protects from many other faults and was tested over a 24hr period to ensure it's built and protected like a tank.

This amplifier currently MAPs at $279.
