Speakers popping?

I got a pair of JBL 6x9's 100rms each hooked up to a 100x2 amp with the gains 1 notch below halfway and during the morning it is fine but it seems like later in the day the humidity or heat causes them to start popping or for some other reason i do not know.... my HU has 4volt outputs so i dont believe that is the problem but if someone does know plz tell me..... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/help.gif.cee8f684da1ba626487a8bc51152e1ec.gif

Have you tried turning the gains down to see if the popping goes away?

Popping is from overpowering them, especially on bass notes. Turn down the gain or the bass.
