Speaker Setup

Well, it's a 2 part question. First of all, I screwed up and spent some of my money so I'm sacrificing a great component system for 4 3 ways. 6 by 9 I was thinking. I have no more than 3-400 to spend. I guess ill run em off the alpine HU, because I can't afford an amp for the mids and highs. Anyway, I'm not that knowledgable about mids and highs and what brand gives you quality sound and loudness for that price. Second question is where to place the speakers. (Have a 95 4Runner) I can place 2 on each back door, but I have these things on the front doors where the speakers would go,so it won't really work.(it's a little thing that holds papers and stuff) Should I just rip that out of the car or is there a better place to mount the speakers? Thanks a lot!

not sure what ur really saying. r u suggesting running 6x9's in the front and back???? 3-400 price range. I would suggest getting getting a comp set up front like the cdt cl 61's or crystal csc's. the cdt's are 127 right now and the crystals are 150 i think. if you definately want speakers in the back get some 6 1/2 coaxials for under 100. that leaves u 150 to spend on a decent 100 x 2 amp to power the comps. power the rears off ur hu.

either u coluld rip that stuff off and put the 6.5 in the stock and the tweet in the a pillar or just get kickpanels if u have the room and since u have a 4 runner u should have enuf room
