Did you do a 1 ohm test since it is rated @ 1 ohm?

Not sure if it works like this but...

I wonder if NVX somehow cornered that immediate line of amp. The Soundstream and PPI were out of stock everywhere before coming back out with this different board. The NVX iteration was never OOS.

Curious to see if the NVX stays the same.

nvx has a pretty decent rep on their amps and subs, they most likely wont pull the same sh*t as soundstream aka epsilon.

Might be cool to do a comparison video. An original tn1200.1 compared to the new board version. Almost a call out if the new version doesn't compare.

I open up every amp I buy prior to instillation. My 4.900’s and 1.1200’s all have the original boards. It’s too bad they ruined the amps this way. The only time I can recall an amp having a different board than what I thought I was buying were Popcorn Sounds 7k’s. Two had AA 500.1 boards and the other two were Lanzar Opti 7k boards. The Soundstream amps are a bait and switch IMO. Put out vids, hype up the product and then put out a POS with the same heatsink. LAME

I did a 2 ohm bridged dynamic test... Didn't do the certified test.

it definitely does not compare... its literally half the fets and next to no filtering on the output section.
