I have 2 jlw3 15's in the trunk and it is being pushed by a mmats amp 1400.05.

Anyway when the trunk is closed it is not that loud but hen I open the trunk it rattles everyones windows. The installers told me that it is because the car is so new and the trunk is so sealed. How can I make my sounds louder with the trunk down. Any info would be appreciated, Thanks.

the car being new has nothing to do with it. thats just the way ur trunk is, u need to see if u can fold down ur rear seats or find some other ways to let bass into the cabin. i have the same problem but there was only so much i could do about it.

I am going to go ahead and get different speakers the ones I have only utilize half of the power in my amp.

you could put a port thru ur trunk to the cabin...when i own my altima it was a common thing to do, most times it came out of the top rear dash or under the seats, food for thought

yeah. i just finished "porting" my rear deck in my maixma. ill let you know the results when i put it all back together.
