Sony CD Player

Hi, I know nothing about car audio but I really need help right now!

I wanna buy a brand new Sony CD player but I don't know which one is the best...

I need one that can play CDR so Sony CDX-M670 and Sony CDX-M770 are 2 of my options.

Can you please tell me what are the differences between these two? Plus, is there any other good alternative?

either will be a good choice.

the 770 adds a joystick remot, switchable preamp outputs(4.0 and 5.5 volts) an auxiliary input and HX-DSP digital signal processing(7 pre-set eq,etc,etc) and about $130. it's the better between the two.

quick note, the joystick remote doesn't do everything the radio can do, you have to use the credit card remote or hu controls. it's also somewhat picky in where it's located in order to work. all in all, they are good head units.

I have the Sony CDX-M610. I like it a lot. Has the sub control, along with front and rear rca outs. But yea I would step up to the 680. I am not a big fan of that joystick remote. Just kinda big and gaudy (if thats a word).
