Hey, I Try.
Hey all. So i'm building a huge fiberglass enclosure out of my entire back quarter panel in my hatch and i just went for it without really trying to figure out total enclosure size. From some VERY rough estimates. We're looking around the 2.0 cuft mark. I ended up getting a SSA Icon 12'' that only calls for around 1.25 cuft sealed. I can certainly cut down or fill in the enclosure once its done to make it smaller. I have quite a bit of power on tap so i did some WINISD modeling and well..i am just not seeing that big of a difference between a volume of 1.25 cuft and 2.0. Keep in mind that im not the best at modeling so maybe i put in a number wrong at some point which is what im thinking may have happened. Can anyone verify this on their own or if they have access to Bass Box, that'd be appreciated as well. Thanks. Pics for reference. QTC= .59 at 1.25, QTC= .53 at 2.0 cuft. Excursion modeled at 2000rms which is the highest rms the manufacturer recommends.

Honestly I don't think it would be hard for them to make it where you use android auto AND your own music source. They made it able to do so...

Agreed with this here. Since you have the unit pulled out of the car/dash...test it at your car battery directly for operation. very simple to do...

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
