So what the hell is Home Depot doing?

I was going to start some kick panels for a friend this weekend....we went up to Home Depot to get all the supplies, and low and behold, they have absolutely nothing fiberglass related anymore. No resin, no mat, no cloth, no hardener. I asked the manager where it was, figuring they moved it, and he said they no longer carry fiberglass products anymore. We went to another Home Depot about a half hour away, and they said the same thing. Anyone else notice this? Or is Cleveland once again giving me proof that it's the worst city in the world?

I was just there a few hours ago. They were out of gallons but they still had quarts and mat (I think I have more than I could ever use already) and cloth (bought two packs, I like working with it more than with mat.) Maybe a Midwest thing? I think I bought the last gallon about a week ago...

whats better fiberglass mat or cloth? and I work at a hardware store and we seem to overcharge on pretty much everything, we have a gallon of resin for $30.00 i want to know if thats a rip off?

Cloth is easier to work with IMO. It cuts nicely with scissors and doesn't come apart and stick to the bruch as much as mat does. The individual fibers are also more flexible and I find it easier to work into corners and wrap around edges. Again just my preference. $30 is a bit pricey for polyester resin, but seeing as how you can't get it at HD anymore, the going price may start to rise.
