Small footprint Amp for 1.5 ohm and 1000-1500w

Max length ?
Man I hate working 7-12s sometimes. I really need to pull the seats back out. And look. The old amps are mount be it by two feet each but the are back there on opposite sides of the cab rear wall. There wasn't much space left considering my relay board is pretty big

Current amps are about 13x8. I have some room to play with I just can't use a massive 3000w amp turned down because it won't fit.
And even with a 1.5 resting resistance I'd like a 1 ohm stable amp because in some cases 2ohm amps are picky with protect mode and low ohm load.

The kicker I have now is a 2ohm amp which has been dynoed around 1500w at 1.5ohm and I've been rounding it at 1.5 ohm for a few years now

I could go with a couple smaller amps gain matched pushing a 3ohm load. Would be looking for about 600w at 3ohm which puts me looking at 800-1000w at 2 ohm amps

Was currently looking at the kenwood excelon xr600-1. I know it rated at 600 at 2ohm but with 90amps of fusing I feel it should be quite underrated

The other option was the alpine x-a90m which is 900 at 2ohm
You must not know about Brazilian amps. Best power in a small footprint you'll ever have. Nothing else compares footprint wise. Way smaller than your kickers, way more power.

^^ I've already tried.. He thinks 3000w amp is humongous but it's actually a lot smaller than his current Kicker amp but somehow still won't work? I dont know..

Would've helped if when you recommended the amp you would've listed the brand we don't all have model numbers of amps memorized. And if you would of read the post after yours you would see that I eventually figured it out

The ma2000.1 is about 16” long

I need to get the back seats back out and look. The kicker is 12 1/16 × 7 3/16 So the b2 while small is still a bit bigger, but it may fit.

The taramps is interesting, I knew they were great comp amps but never saw one in a daily application.

The down side to both of those is I can't get a matching 4 channel. And I really don't need that much power, the 13tw5 are really touchy about too much power though headroom is nice

times have completely changed, taramps for daily is normal now, people catching on. All their amps back then were made for mids and highs and people apparently used them for subs. Nowadays they have amps geared for subwoofer performance.
