I finally entered my first competition on the 19th it was a slap show event. I was in the stock 1-160 class. I had borrowed my brothers subs and amp, 2 eclipse 10's (150w rms) with a bazooka el1500 running at 500w rms. my first run I used test tones starting at about 40hz and up. I hit a 138.1. my next run I played a song that starts at a high freq then gradually lowers and I hit 139.2. I thought I would get 1st but then a guy in a dakota with 2 10w7s goes and hits a 146.?. I was like ****. then a guy in a piece of shit sabb goes and hits 143.? with 2 memphis tens(the chrome ones) I was like wtf. I ended up getting 3rd. the loudest of the comp was a guy with a brand new monte carlo ss with 2 12w7s & 2 thunder 1501s in a huge ported box. he hit 147.1. his windshield was flexing really bad and I swore it was about to break. I had lots of fun competing and hope to again when I get my new setup in.

I don't really know of any (not really into it anymore) but around this time of year Boomers audio here in I.F. usually puts on a usaci event. You may want to call them or check the usaci website
