Ok coming down to a decision here, looking at a single 15. I dont want to count out the 12s though. Simply put, I need the biggest back massage possible. Looking for 50/50 SPL to SQ, have about 4 cubes internal to work with. Upgrading electrical system also. What would you run and why?

Thanks,

Andrew

Go with the 20 12's. More cone area. Two 12's will hit harder because of the more cone area compared to the single 15.
**** 20 12s holy **** that would pound hard. LOL. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/clap.gif.178cba2c538c68e720c727fcb024b19c.gif

24 inches opposed to 15 inches of cone area. Makes sense. Now I need to look into setups with 12s. Any suggestions would be helpfull.

was there a certain speaker that you were looking at? i wanted to ask the same questions, the speaker i had in mind was the orion h2 though. im reading and reading, but it seems like everyone usually jsut uses One 15 or one 12. this local shop in st pete when i went there and talked to him, i told him one 15, and said ill give you 2 12s for $425. but i still think i want one 15. can anybody suggest something, im about a month away from ordering, so i have a little bit more time to research.Peace

RE sounds VERY appealing! But I am nowhere near figuring out what 12s I want. I had my mind made up for a 15, the XXX. The 12s need to get low and be clean at the same time.
