Should I become a ricer and buy this car?

12lbs of boost is actually a rather large amount unless he changed the compression ratio of the engine. Hondas are not meant to be boosted stock and the blocks are not all that strong when stock.

I could find a much better turbo platform to start with for 3k or less.

swapped out my d16z6 for............................

not even close to a ricer, iirc ricers are simply cars with useless cosmetic mods, that's actually a decently tuned little hatchback.
true and the fact that he called it a ricer and doesnt know shit about bost and tuning and running premium gas leads me to believe he should steer clear of this vehicle

Its not a ricer. Not stock motor by far lol. I'd get it, but my hatch is more riced out than that one as far as cosmetic pieces go. A shop built the motor so you should be fine. Turn the boost down a lil bit and treat it right and you'll be fine. I'd definitely buy it for 3k.
Thats what I'm saying, I doubt its just a stock d16 with a turbo slapped on. But Idk I skimmed the add. Nonetheless this is exactly the car Im looking for.

500cc injectors, bloc throttle body, swapped vamps, among other things. And the sellers first line of the post was "swapped d16z" so they put in a si motor instead of the stock d17y3 like it probably came with. Get it and treat it good. They are fun cars.
