Scosche Wiring

To compare apples to apples that is all. Had a customer in this morning that was trying his best not to be an idiot. The kind of guy you just want to hit upside the head but have to refrain from. So you find a post and go off there instead.

man I would be more than happy for you to show me theaudible difference between scosche and the more expensive power wire. If it is the proper gauge to carry your current load , and flexible enough to suit your needs it will work. Regaurdless of whose name is printed on the outside of the insualtion plain and simple. Come to my shop, I'll set up a sterile test situation keeping all variables the same except for the wire, and you can bring any kind of wire you would like. I know where my money will ride. I make more money being honest with people than I do by trying to push overpriced wire on them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

For the record I was not inferring that you would hear any audable difference in wire. If you have not had the luxury of comparing side by side a wire like the Scoshe EFX to a el cheapo brand (not saying that they are all bad) then it is advisable that you do. In my local market the Scosche EFX 4 gauge makes the Viszer 4 gauge look like a 12 gauge by comparison. Sure the jacket is the same physical width but the wire inside is half the size of the Scosche. It's really amazing what can be passed off as a 4 gauge wire these days. This is what is available in my local market and is a reflection of that availability that I can show a customer all day long and not one has misunderstood what I showed them. If an amp has to struggle to get power, it will struggle to make power. You get what you pay for. Good to hear that honesty is the best policy in your store, this is how I run my stores as well. There should be more people like that.

Wait a second, your saying scosche is the good stuff. That's what wally world sells. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif So we are in agreement that scosche is an acceptable wire. That's the point I was trying to make. it's all chicken but the gravy brother man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yea i am a little confused here. I thought you were saying Scosche is bad now you saying it is twice the amount of wire of another breand you sell. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif:confused://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif:confused://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif:confused://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif:confused:

Wow man, smoke some more guys, Scosche is great wire, love it, use it, recommend it. I was not aware that Wally World sold EFX in the USA. We have a Wally World just down the road but no Scosche EFX in it.

Yes in my market Scosche EFX is more expensive than the el cheapo variety (in my case Vizser), but it is no more expensive than comparable brands like Lightning, Monster, Stinger and Kleenex Gold. Seems the Canadian market place is a little different that the US market. We sell 4 gauge for $3.50 ft Canadian, (our competition sells Kleenex Gold for $5.00 ft). The Viszer 4 gauge we can sell for $1.50ft but like I said, it ***** a$$ compared to the Scosche EFX wire. What does a 4 gauge EFX wire sell for by the foot in the US?

depends where you go. I have seen it for a buck a foot. And at you request Forbidden i will smoke some more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smokin.gif.f1dc8d2acb1809e863ebd6a47eaa0d45.gif

I would have to say that the Vizser wire is not 4ga then. Not a fair comparison. The Scosche stuff at Walmart (not EFX for that price, but actually 4 ga) is a great value for the money. The terminals don't have the prettiest finish and the RCAs are not the best I have seen but WTF do you expect for $25. Even if you trash most of the kit and keep only the power wire and remote wire, you have a pretty good deal IMO.

Yep got to agree. The power wire alone is worth the money. And just for the record was at wally world this morning. They are now selling bulk rolls of scosche efx power wire. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

24.99 for 18' 0 ga 19.99 for 20' 2ga 19.99 for 25' of 4gauge. Unfortunately though my local wally world no longer has any bulk rolls of wire //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
