--Verse One--
During this whole life, this ***** took it for granted, moved full speed
He didn’t know when to ******’ stop and not give in to his greed
It all began with a crack-*****-**** and a **** hittin’ weed
She would never put the pipe down’n’he smoked like a burning tree
They fucked without protection one stormy eve and Micah was concieved
A little *****, stuck in the middle of a dysfunctional family
Always attempting to pick apart right from wrong
Like the white supremacist officer who shot his black daddy.
The memory faint, but he always thinks “What a night…”
Father in the light, five beers and a shot of gin beyond wasted,
Hole funneled through his head, lying dead, blood-stained and *****,
Mom terrified as the mother ****** bled in his red-tainted burial bed,
Is all he knows in his 4-year-old top, “bang,” a scream, and a finishing “pop.”
His mother is all he’s lived for, promised and vowed to protect her at no stop
He takes after his dad at 6, workin’ alleys and corners at every shop
To put bread on the table, all in return for a smack and a diss
For his mom don’t want him to end like his dad, dead on the April fifth
He loved her. She loved him. Even through words and the thick skin
But keeping his chin held high was the only decision
Wiry as **** ‘cause **** was becomin’ so paper thin
Things began to change, good’n’great was now the trend
He had a car lined up at 13, ***** already had a reputation
He has the best **** in town and dealt it with his persuasion
Things were lookin’ ******’ great and full of fun
17 and he was on the road to… buying his first gun? (haha)
“**** that” went through his tormented young mind
He crept the streets at one, smashed a window and stole a .9 from an enemy’s bed
17 and livin’ just fine, women lined up wantin’ to give him head
What he didn’t realize, his life was gonna’ take a fantasy trip
Like acid and shrooms, seein all kinds of fucked up ****
The women and the money right now was nothing but a little ******’ sip
Of his reality in the future, so he sits back and takes another hit
Because you and I both know you gotta’ admit
It’s the only thing he can do at this place in time, this single cherishable moment
--Chorus--
Around that corner you don't know what you'll be facin'
So crack a smile, tell the cashier to keep the change'n
Live life right now, become a better human
Enjoy it to the fullest and while you can
Get your **** ****** and rubbed by a woman's hand
‘Cause life wasn't handed to you on a silver platter
Don't take that **** for granted, 'cause soon, you won't matter
Soon, you won't matter.
--Verse Two--
His life was once a special ops reality obstacle
Simply in seemingly mother ******* impossible
When the paving of the road started, Micah wasn’t amiss
Just the whole tender childhood age of 6
Decided to pick up the joint and put down the popsicle
By 19 played every ******* MC like his fiddle
He knew the rap game where his future now lied
Leaving his momma with “I love you” and “goodbye”
Was unbelievably hard when he watched her cry
“Don’t go Micah! This is where you was always raised in!”
Detroit was now his destination
Winning Atlanta, Memphis, bouncing’ on Brooklyn
Life for the better sure was hot it looked’n
He finally stepped up to puttin’ chips on the table
Micah knew no one was better, he knew no one could handle
The master flow and the lyrics and the punch lines he channeled
Through the mouth that ate out every girl he got his hand on
He was the King Of the South. **** T.I.
****** even knew not to look or breathe wrong, even stutter “Hi.”
***** even went Platinum without a record deal to sign
In the terrible economy, he did nothing’ ‘cept climb
Micah bounced with the best, lit up with 2-pac before he died
His personal trainer kept him a mean physical force not to be fucked with
Life was going fantastically great and Micah **** well knew it
Livin’ in a mansion in Puerto Rico, rollin’ Lambos to show it
Had an army of hit men lined up to kill a ***** in seconds with no evidence
Left behind for the FBI to catch on, he was such a ******’ genius
New terrorists bringing down the World Trade Center, shockin’ any citizen
The next chapter in his story that hasn’t been written,
Like a ******’ T-Bone collision, cars split by division
No gypsie or mother ******’ genie could ever vision.
--Chorus--
Around that corner you don't know what you'll be facin'
So crack a smile, tell the cashier to keep the change'n
Live life right now, become a better human
Enjoy it to the fullest and while you can
Get your **** ****** and rubbed by a woman's hand
‘Cause life wasn't handed to you on a silver platter
Don't take that **** for granted, 'cause soon, you won't matter
Soon, you won't matter.
--Mini-Verse--
Now ya’ll ****** might be getting tired of hearin’ me spit
So spend this intermission to take another hit
Cause I been preachin’ **** near 300 seconds
And the dude next to you prolly need a few ******’ breathe mints
Now I’ll continue this childrens’ story-book here pretty soon
Let you know how Micah turns out, along with his momma too
So give me 5 more minutes after this next chorus
Ad like EBM did on the ******’ transit bus
I’ll be comin’ at you with You Won’t Matter Part Two.
