rockford fosgate old school or new?

I've had both an 800.2 and a 700s and they were great amps, built like tanks too. I've heard nothing but bad things about their new line up. I don't trust them just looking at them, the 800wrms amp says "2400watts" right on the amp. I don't trust any company that resorts to using legacy's marketing tactics

umm their new 2004 line up is completly rebuilt, their amp rattings are CEA offical, and all the tests and things I have read, not to include a friend who is a RF field tester, have all been excellent with the new 2004 line up

I have owned many of the older old school amps over time, I have 2 right now that are chilling that I need to find a home

wats better oldschool line or the new one
The old school stuff between 86'-92" was fantastic then they seem to have just went to hell from then until now (just my opinion only). I've recently undergone a change of heart with the introduction of the new 04' Power lineup. I'm going to try it out then give my views until then the jury is still out..... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The i and ix series were insane. You could suffiently power like 4 subs w/ a amp rated at 12.5x2. Besides DARKHART those other amps listed wouldnt exactly be called old school IMO.
I diffently wouldn't consider those 800's, 700's and stuff like that old school. Old School to me is the stuff I used back in the late 80's, the Punch 30's, 45's, and 75's, the Power 300's, 650's and 1000's(which unknown to most was a 4channel amp)...the Black,Red and White case before there was a chrome model.

When the first Punch 200 hit the market yes it was a pretty bad boy as well... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
