Rockford fosgate amp question

Hey i was wondering can anybody tell me the difference between a power 501bd that is silver or the black power 500bd. The 501bd says 500x1 int o 2 ohms and the 500bd says 600x1 into 2 ohms which is better and what is the difference. thank for the help.

bd500 is better if your sub can handle that much power. The difference between the two is 100 watts/RMS.

also 500bd is the old model and 501bd is the newer model, the silver one.
