rockford can be one of the cheaper brands...you just have to look on the net. You can get a punch 800.2 amp for $329 at cbrstereo.com, and many sites have the 500.2 for well under $300! Also at cbrstereo, you can get the 12" Punch HX2 for $129!!!...with those kinds of deals, you can put together a killer system for under a grand! whats up?!?! you just have to look around and find good prices. Crutchfield is way overpriced man...like their MTX RFL 15 costs 1grand, but at cbr its only 475

also, infinity is cheap at many sites, their perfect series is around $300 at crutchfield, but many many places have them for $170 man....

Just be sure to read through the fine print when you see all those "great" deals. Some places charge outrageous shipping charges, etc., which usually equal out the price of most other suppliers. Just keep the phrase "if it's to good to be true, then it probably isn't true" in mind when purchasing car audio products.

One can really find some amazing deals with a little research.

I would also agree with Phatillusion, pay attention to the fine print- that is where they get you every time.

On another note, it has come to my attention that another member of this site is currently having some problems with CBR Stereo; I am just passing this along for everyone elses own awareness regarding this retailer.
