Rockford Amp

So Im set on getting the Sundown SA 12, I found an amp that I think would be good for it but I don't know if its gonna be too much power.. Rockford Fosgate Prime 750 Watt Class D 1 channel Amplifier I assume it's one ohm stable so I'd need the SA 12 D2 correct? In the reviews people are saying that the birthsheets that come with the amp show its more like 850 rms.

Not to much, make sure you set the gain correctly! You don't wanna clip it to bad

Yes, you will need a D2. That amp/sub combo should perform very well. Build a good box and go to town.

Gonna have to experiment/learn the whole setting the gain thing. I don't have any experience with the settings on the amp/stereo but my buddy does. So this would be a good combo?

I plan on using a design for the SA 12 I found on the interwebz. Should be a fun project. Hoping to learn. 4 Gauge wiring kit?

Yeah, 4 AWG should be good as long as it's a decent brand. OFC is best, but CCA works on a budget.

Yes 4 guage is fine, ofc is better than cca! Either will work
