I'm in Ur F0rumZ
I have a DMM, and when I tried to tune about 2 months ago, I ended up blowing the HU RCA pre-out fuse. I know this was because the ground fell out, BUT, I couldn't get a read even before the Ground fell out, yet everything was on fine.
Anyways, I know how to check voltage (JL tutorial) but, is there a way to find RMS, and a clipped signal (not audibly, but on some sort of scope) for cheap? Is there software that I can download and an accessory I could use for a laptop?
I'm most concernerd about tuning for RMS at 1k Hz, for my speakers. I'll be getting a Xenon 200.4, for a set of speakers that are 70 RMS, and then when I upgrade, I'll be pushing only 125-150 RMS to each speaker. I like the headroom //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
Anyways, the RMS is the most importnat, followed by the clipped signal, but if I could kill 2 or 3 birds with one stone...
Thanks for any help //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
