Does anyone have an estimate of this amp's actual rating in stereo at 4 or 2 ohms? Specs say 37.4 x2 at 4 ohms, I would assume 75x2 at 2 ohms. I have, however, heard these amps are underrated. Any suggestions?

I am the one who originally posted. I found the birth certificate and it says 122 per channel at 2 ohms. I think I have blown one of the channels now. I thought the amp was indestructable, apparently it is not.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif

TRY OPENING THE BOTTOM COVER OF YOUR AMP

ON THE CIRCUIT BOARD THERE SHOULD BE

FOUR - 6 AMP 32 VOLT BARREL FUSES

ONE OR MORE COULD HAVE BLOWN

CHECK TO SEE

IT HAPPEND TO MY PUNCH 150

2 FUSES WERE BLOWN .

Thanks for the suggestion. I opened the amp, but there are no fuses inside, only resistors, capacitors, etc... I have also looked for burned places in the circuits, but I have found none. Any more suggestions?

you may have a power supply problem

take your amp to a car audio shop

and ask them to bench test your amp.

Had an fosgate punch 75.2 and birth sheet said total output of 206 watts so i dont know if its the same amp but thats how much mine put out at 2 ohms.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
