RF amps overrated?

I've heard that RF amps are overrated and that their quality has gone over the years. I want to push a single solobaric dvc 4ohm. Should I go with RF or a more respectible company these days? Anyone with experience adding an amp to a factory system like a mach 460?

You will need a line-out converter to get an RCA (low level) signal ot send to your amplifier. These can be purchased at any Car Audio Store.
